After more than 20 years in its cellars, Gosset has decided to offer 1000 bottles of the sublime Celebris 1995 vintage.
This new vintage in its Célébrissimes collection is the culmination of a 20-year adventure. Cuvée Celebris 1995 spent ten years in bottle, on its lees. Then, after disgorging, it spent a further 12 years corked in the cellar. A new stage, a double ageing, during which the effervescence fades, leaving the wine to express itself fully.
Odilon de Varine, cellar master at Gosset, suggests decanting the Cuvée Célébrissime 1995 to allow the full range of aromas to develop.
Gosset does not practice malolactic fermentation, allowing the wines to retain their sublime freshness as they age.
A magnificent cuvée, a piece of history.
