Description
Célébris Vintage 2002 from the house of Gosset is a polished and elegant champagne of great plenitude, the fruit of a marriage between Chardonnay (52%) and Pinot Noir (48%) dosed as an Extra-Brut (5 g/L).
It has undergone no malolactic fermentation in order to preserve its incomparable freshness.
Luminous and shimmeringly pale, the Célébris Vintage 2002 offers up beguiling aromas of hawthorn, lilac and violet with apricot, fresh pineapple and Granny Smith apple on the second nose and wonderful notes of white flowers, hawthorn, and jasmine developing after airing.
With its remarkable freshness and purity it will make a delightful aperitif, and can also profitably accompany a free range bird, sweetbreads in citronella sauce, or monkfish in a butter sauce.
