Rosé de Saignée in magnum is a cuvée made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the limestone soils of the Jurassic Kimmeridgian in Urville, in the Aube region. These limestone terroirs give the wine a unique intensity, which is expressed through vibrant aromas and a firm structure.
This cuvée is made using the Saignée technique, which involves a three-day maceration to capture the red fruit aromas and bright color of Pinot Noir. Part of the cuvée is aged in oak casks, adding a layer of complexity to the whole. Malolactic fermentation, carried out to bring roundness, and the low dosage of 4 g/L highlight the purity and natural character of this cuvée. This champagne is low in sulfites, reinforcing its freshness and authenticity.
This Rosé de Saignée in magnum has an intense color with deep pink hues, indicative of the aromatic richness of Pinot Noir.
On the nose, this cuvée exudes aromas of fresh red fruits such as strawberry and cherry, complemented by a subtle spicy note that enhances its complexity.
On the palate, this champagne offers a silky and intense texture, with clean flavors of red fruit, lightly punctuated by notes of stone fruit, and a fresh, mineral finish that highlights its elegance.
The magnum format is ideal for champagne, offering more harmonious aging thanks to less oxygenation. This large format better preserves the wine's aromas and freshness, while developing greater complexity. Perfect for celebrations, the magnum is a preferred choice for impressing guests at events and guarantees service for around 15 flutes.
