Champagne Drappier'sBrut Nature cuvée is a pure and elegant expression of Pinot Noir. With no added sugar, this cuvée offers striking freshness and subtle minerality. It is an ideal champagne to accompany seafood or a refined aperitif.
The Brut Nature cuvée is a tribute to the purity and richness of the Côte des Bar terroirs. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it comes from vines located in Urville, on limestone soils from the Jurassic Kimmeridgian period. This unique soil gives the wine its distinctive minerality.
" In fact, it was the champagne we drank among ourselves in the evening after a day's work in the vineyards or in the cellar," explains Michel Drappier. " I never thought of marketing it, but one day a sommelier visiting our home came across a bottle and fell in love with it. That's how the story began!"
Champagne Drappier uses a winemaking method that brings out the authenticity of the grapes. The grapes are pressed with a low-pressure plate press to extract only the best juice from the first pressing. Fermentation is carried out using the estate's own organic yeasts. The cuvée is aged for 36 months in the bottle, giving it beautiful aromatic depth and unique finesse.
With no dosage, this cuvée expresses all the richness of Pinot Noir while maintaining great purity and exceptional freshness.
The Brut Nature cuvée is distinguished by a slightly coppery gold color. Its bubbles are fine and lively.
On the nose, this cuvée offers aromas of freshly pressed black grapes, accompanied by notes of red fruits, white fruits andcitrus, bringing a lovely freshness.
On the palate, the attack is full-bodied with a silky texture, reminiscent of vine peach pulp. A bouquet of aromatic herbs unfolds in the mid-palate, giving way to a slightly spicy finish marked by great purity.
The price of a bottle of Brut Nature Drappier is 41,50 €. This price reflects the craftsmanship and quality of the grapes, which are grown in carefully cultivated, sustainably farmed vineyards.
