Description

If Dom Pérignon is most certainly the most famous champagne house in the world monde, it is also amongst those that make the best champagne.

The Vintage 2002 is indisputably the best illustration of this. Richard Geoffroy, the cellar master, has masterfully interpreted this vintage which is unanimously recognized as being one of the greatest of the last 20 years.

2002 experienced a hot, dry spring with summer being marked by alternate sunny spells and rain. A sunny September saw the grapes harvested at exceptional maturity levels.

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2002 is inimitable. Elegant and sophisticated, this champagne offers perfect maturity.

Its bubbles are of an indescribable finesse and its robe an exquisite golden yellow.

The nose opens on notes of fresh almonds and newly cut corn, with aromas of candied lemon, dried fruits, then smoky, toasted notes developing after airing.

The palate is imposing, enveloping, dense and creamy.

From its core of vibrant fruit, Dom Pérignon Vintage 2002 develops intensity and depth with a subtle and refined hint of bitterness.

350 years after its inception, Dom Pérignon continues to reinvent the exceptional.
