Diebolt-Vallois's Blanc de Blancs cuvée is the house's icon. It exalts the savoir-faire of Jacques Diebolt, one of the finest connoisseurs of the Côte des Blancs terroir.
It's a champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay from the terroirs of Cuis, Chouilly, Epernay and young vines from Cramant.
It's a blend that combines two different harvests to produce a consistent, complex champagne.
Tasting
By Patrick BorrasDiebolt-Vallois' Blanc de Blancs has a sparkling golden yellow color. It is a champagne with a fine, lively bubble.
Its nose, typical of Chardonnay, is marked by floral and fruity notes. A complex nose, with aromas of citrus and fresh white fruit.
The Blanc de Blancs Diebolt-Vallois has a very pleasant attack on the palate, with fine, delicate bubbles that add freshness. The fresh fruit notes discovered on the nose are also present on the palate.
I really like this Blanc de Blancs, with its gourmet, well-balanced taste. I recommend serving it with a cocktail aperitif or a summer meal. This cuvée should be served at a temperature of 9°C.
