The 2010 Amour de Deutz is a superb Blanc de Blancs champagne with notes of ripe yellow fruit. This cuvée is perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood dishes.
Amour de Deutz 2010 is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs, and more specifically from the Grand Cru terroirs of Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant, and Villers-Marmery.
This champagne has a pale gold color with silvery highlights. Its bubbles are fine and creamy.
The nose reveals complex notes of yellow fruit (apricot, peach, kumquat, mirabelle plum, etc.), followed by floral aromas and a touch of fresh almond.
On the palate, Amour de Deutz 2010 starts with a rich and full attack. The creamy texture is supported by a nice tension. The fruity aromas discovered on the nose reappear.
This is a cuvée with excellent aging potential.
Amour de Deutz 2010 pairs perfectly with caviar, sushi, sashimi, or tuna carpaccio.
