Delamotte’s Blanc de Blancs is a masterful expression of the finest terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. It is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Grand Cru vineyards in Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, and Cramant.
The minerality of this Blanc de Blancs comes from the chalky soil in which the vines were grown.
It is a champagne with a very delicate, floral, and mineral nose.
On the palate, it reveals an elegant, lively attack, carried by a lovely airy quality. The floral aromas are present, along with a very pleasant hint of salinity.
This Blanc de Blancs aged for 4 to 5 years in the cellars of the Delamotte house before being released for sale, allowing the wine to develop its full-bodied aromas.
It’s a cuvée perfect for a lovely summer aperitif or to pair with fresh oysters or grilled fish.
