The Blanc de Blancs from Delamotte is a masterful interpretation of the finest terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. It is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Grand Cru vineyards in Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, and Cramant.
The minerality of this Blanc de Blancs comes from the chalky soil in which the vines were grown.
This champagne offers a very delicate, floral and mineral nose.
On the palate, it has an elegant, lively attack, carried by a beautiful airy touch. The floral aromas return, along with a very pleasant hint of saltiness.
This Blanc de Blancs has been aged for 4 to 5 years in the cellars of the Delamotte house before being released for sale, allowing the wine to round out its aromas.
This cuvée is perfect as a summer aperitif or to accompany oysters or grilled fish.
