Description
The Blanc de Blancs from Delamotte is a masterful interpretation of the most noble terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, made from Chardonnay grown on the Grand Cru terroirs of Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant.
The minerality in this Blanc de Blancs is derived from the chalky soils of the vineyards.
The nose is graceful, floral, mineral.
The palate opens with elegance and verve, beautifully ethereal, reflecting the same floral notes as found on the nose but with a supplementary touch of salinity.
The aromas of this Blanc de Blancs have been polished and rounded by 4 to 5 years in the Delamotte cellars.
Excellent for a summer aperitif or served with a plate of oysters or grilled fish.
