The Pierre Moncuit winery was founded at the end of the 19th century. In the 1980s, Nicole Moncuit, Pierre's daughter, began signing the winery's wines. She became one of the few women in charge of winemaking in the region. She produces wines that combine precise fruit flavors, fine bubbles, and suppleness. For several years now, Valérie Charpentier, Nicole's daughter, has been at the helm of Domaine Pierre Moncuit, continuing the house style. The vineyard now covers around 20 hectares planted exclusively with Chardonnay, including 15 hectares on the Grand Cru terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs.

The Pierre Moncuit cuvées offer different facets of the Chardonnay grape variety, highlighting the specific characteristics of the terroirs and the different vintages. From non-vintage bruts such as the round and elegant Cuvées Hugues de Coulmet and the mineral and fresh Pierre Moncuit Delos, to the more exclusive Cuvée Nicole Moncuit, produced only in exceptional years from old vines over 50 years old, Maison Pierre Moncuit offers champagnes with multiple nuances.
