Description

Nicolas Maillart's Cuvée Platine Premier Cru is a very elegant champagne, with fine bubbles and fruity aromas. It's the perfect cuvée for the aperitif.

Made from a majority of Pinot Noir, the king of the Ecueil terroir, this champagne offers a beautiful aromatic structure, balanced by Chardonnay which adds a touch of freshness. The blend leaves plenty of room for reserve wines (wines from the last harvests) aged in barrels (around 35%), giving the wine a certain patina and consistency.

Only grapes from terroirs classified as Grand and Premiers Crus on the Montagne de Reims are used to make this Cuvée Platine Premier Cru.

This champagne is aged for 3 to 4 years in our cellars, to reveal all the subtleties of its blend. The dosage is low, around 1 g/l.

Cuvée Platine Premier Cru by Maison Maillart has a golden color, with fine, persistent bubbles.

On the nose, pleasant notes of apple and ripe fruit evolve into toasty, gourmet aromas.

On the palate, this champagne has a fresh, vinous attack, before opening up to rich, fruity notes. The palate is very elegant, silky and light.

A very fine aperitif cuvée.
