Maillart's Brut Rosé 1er Cru is a champagne that offers a rich aromatic profile, with intense notes of red berries that pair perfectly with a gourmet appetizer or a red-berry dessert.
This is a saignée rosé, meaning a champagne whose color and aromas are derived from the slow maceration of the grapes.
The Pinot Noir grapes used for maceration come from the Bouzy terroir, arguably the finest terroir for this variety. A touch of Chardonnay adds freshness and minerality.
Partially aged in oak barrels, this Brut Rosé 1er Cru benefits from a touch of complexity. It is a cuvée with minimal dosage to preserve the expressiveness and power of the Bouzy terroir.
This Maillart Brut Rosé 1er Cru has a deep rosé color, dotted with fine bubbles.
On the nose, one discovers notes of red fruits and wild berries, which then evolve into a slightly spicy touch reminiscent of vanilla.
On the palate, the Brut Rosé 1er Cru has a fresh and intense attack, followed by distinct fruity aromas. It is a cuvée with beautiful length and a fresh, indulgent finish.
