Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé Champagne in a jeroboam embodies the art of blending and the historic expertise of the House. Made from around fifty carefully selected crus and enriched with up to 45% reserve wines, it combines power, depth, and elegance. Aged for three years in the chalk cellars of Reims, this rosé seduces with its silky texture, its balance between freshness and structure, and its unique aromatic intensity. Inspired by the famous Brut Carte Jaune, Brut Rosé echoes its structure while adding a fruity and indulgent dimension. The blend is based mainly on Pinot Noir, which gives the wine its structure and power, complemented by Meunier for roundness and Chardonnay for freshness and finesse. The finishing touch is provided by 12% Bouzy red wine, which adds color, intensity, and depth.
The grapes come from a wide range of 50 to 60 Champagne crus, carefully selected for their complementary qualities. The Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims and Aube bring structure and richness, while the Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs lend liveliness and finesse. The Meuniers from the Vallée de la Marne offer suppleness and fruitiness. Together, they create a balanced champagne, faithful to the House's signature style: strength, freshness, and depth.
The base of Brut Carte Jaune is blended with precision before the addition of red wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir from Bouzy, vinified separately to preserve the purity of the fruit. The wine is then aged for three years in the House's historic chalk cellars, developing aromas of pastries, spices, and ripe fruit. The Brut dosage of 9 g/L brings balance and harmony between freshness and creaminess.
Bright pink with salmon highlights, clear and brilliant. Fine and regular effervescence, typical of large formats.
Rich and expressive. Aromas of strawberry, raspberry, black cherry, and blueberry, enhanced by white pepper, saffron, and licorice. Notes of biscuit, croissant, orange peel, and gingerbread from aging on lees.
Full-bodied and balanced. Silky and dynamic texture, dominated by ripe red fruits and sweet spices. A touch of biscuit and brioche envelops the long, elegant finish, with a subtle chalky minerality.
The generous fruitiness and spicy complexity of Brut Rosé call for delicate, expressive cuisine. This champagne pairs perfectly with sweet-and-salty or lightly grilled dishes.
Store the Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé jeroboam in a cool, dark, stable cellar at 64–54°F (10–12°C) and around 70% humidity. Thanks to its large size, it will evolve slowly, gaining roundness and complexity over the years. You can keep it for up to 10 years after purchase, protected from temperature fluctuations and vibrations.
Optimal window: 2025–2035. This rosé gradually develops notes of red fruit jam, marzipan, and toast while retaining its freshness and elegance. Its longevity is amplified in a jeroboam.
We recommend serving Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé at 10°C in a tulip glass or a large wine glass to release its fruity and spicy aromas. The large format can be opened 15 minutes before tasting to allow the bubbles to stabilize and reveal their full richness. Perfect as an aperitif or with white meats and red fruit desserts.
