Description

The cuvée Insolite Rosé from Thevenet-Delouvin is the latest creation in the famous “Insolite” range. An elegant rosé defined by freshness, complexity and finesse, made from 75% Chardonnay, 7% Pinot Noir and 6 % Pinot Meunier, to which 12 % red wine made from old vines of Pinot Meunier is added.

As with all of the “Insolite” champagnes, the winemaking is very specific, with the greater part of the wines being vinified in stainless steel vats and 17% in oak barrels.

The dosage is extra-brut, with only 5 g/L creating a pure champagne that gives full expression to its aromas.

Opening on discreet notes of small red fruits, the nose offers a sensation of freshness and finesse, with refreshing redcurrant aromas in the mouth.

It is an elegant and wonderfully balanced champagne which will charm as a summer aperitif.

The complexity of its production means that it is only made in very limited quantities.
