The Insolite Meunier cuvée from Thevenet-Delouvin is a blend of Pinot Meunier from the estate's old vines in Cerseuil and Passy-Grigny.
Isabelle and Xavier Thevenet have made some bold choices for this cuvée, with vinification and aging in oak barrels to give the wine a patina, malolactic fermentation blocked to preserve maximum energy and tension, and an Extra Brut dosage.
Only 1,500 numbered bottles of Insolite Meunier are produced each year.
