The Rosé from Maison Rémi Leroy is an elegant and refined rosé blend.
This cuvée is composed of 65% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and 5% Meunier, to which 15% of the house's red wine is added. These grapes come from the Meurville terroir in the Côte des Bar. The 23-year-old vines are planted on a unique clay-limestone soil that gives the grapes their remarkable character.
This champagne is vinified in stainless steel vats (80%) and barrels (20%), blended with 30% reserve wines. After disgorging, the wine is dosed at 3 g/L.
The bouquet is rich with intense red fruit notes that seem to be enveloped in a raspberry liqueur.
The palate is round and full-bodied with an aromatic finish evoking the aromas already perceived on the nose.
This rosé from Maison Rémi Leroy is excellent paired with mini spicy prawn skewers and fennel risotto or a raspberry charlotte with Champagne sabayon.
