The 2012 Extra Brut from Maison Pierre Moncuit is a taut, fresh Blanc de Blancs with superb minerality, reflecting the terroirs of the estate.
This cuvée is made from Chardonnay Grand Cru grapes from the Mesnil-sur-Oger terroir, one of the most renowned terroirs in the Côte des Blancs.
2012 was a rich, intense vintage with beautiful aromatic power. It produced grapes combining great aromatic maturity and beautiful tension.
After more than 10 years in the cellars of Maison Pierre Moncuit, the 2012 vintage has emerged as a slender champagne with bright fruit notes and remarkable aromatic persistence.
The nose releases aromas of white flowers and citrus peel.
This cuvée is intense and creamy, with a marked freshness due to a pleasant acidity that prolongs its persistence on the palate.
The finesse of this champagne makes it the ideal accompaniment to a fish-based starter.
