The Blanc de Noirs 2009 signed Philipponnat is a vinous and fruity cuvée with astonishing aromatic depth. Here it is accompanied by 2 tasting flutes bearing the house logo.
This is a champagne made only from Pinot Noir from the Premiers and Grands Crus terroirs of the Montagne de Reims and Mareuil-sur-Ay.
The Blanc de Noirs 2009 Philipponnat was vinified in a traditional way, half in stainless steel vats and half in oak barrels. The malolactic fermentation was partially carried out for the wines vinified in stainless steel vats while it was not carried out for the wines aged in wood in order to maintain a beautiful freshness.
The dosage is Extra Brut with 4.25g / l to maintain the balance between freshness and vinosity and to highlight the character of the wine and its purity.
The Blanc de Noirs 2009 Philipponnat has a golden color studded with fine and creamy bubbles.
On the nose, we discover a champagne with spicy and peppery notes that blend with a touch of acacia blossom honey. It is an intense and complex nose.
On the palate, we discover an ample and mineral champagne, with a beautiful mineral presence, and a fruity touch specific to Pinot Noir.
This is a cuvée of sublime power and beautiful aromatic persistence with a finish on spicy and peppery notes.
