Description
The 2006 vintage of the Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque is a delicately sheer and refined champagne.
This exceptional cuvee has been made from grapes selected principally from Grand Cru terroirs and is a blend of Chardonnay (50%), completed with Pinot Noir (45%) and Pinot Meunier (5%).
Hervé Deschamps, Perrier-Jouët’s head cellar-master, vinified each cru separately in order to capture the specificities of each terroir, allowing him to create a blend of absolute precision.
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2006 is pale gold in colour with aromas of white blossom such as hawthorn, lime blossom and white clover.
The second nose is characterised by the appearance of lovely fruit characters, with pear, fresh ginger and pineapple.
Belle Epoque 2006 from Perrier-Jouët has a beautifully structured palate, with a supple, silky texture and stunning minerality.
This is an exquisite champagne for drinking on very special occasions.
