G.H. Mumm's Brut Millésimé 2008 is distinguished by its beautiful tension and fruity aromas.
The 2008 vintage is one of the finest that Champagne has seen in recent years. It offers an exceptional natural balance between freshness and concentrated flavors.
The exceptional quality of the harvest led Didier Mariotti, G.H. Mumm's cellar master, to create a blend combining the architecture and power of Pinots Noirs (64%) with the mineral freshness and finesse of Chardonnays (36%).
This is a Brut Millésime focused on roundness and fruity aromas. All grapes come exclusively from villages classified as Grands Crus.
The G.H. Mumm Brut Millésimé 2008 has a nose evocative of ripe yellow fruit, followed by a hint of spice and roast.
On the palate, this 2008 vintage has a rich, round, gourmet attack, refreshed by a beautiful minerality. The finish is long, vibrating for several seconds on notes of yellow fruit.
