In magnum format, Mumm's Cordon Rouge develops fruity, indulgent aromas supported by a beautiful lively and fresh structure.
In this format, perfect for festive aperitifs, Mumm's most famous cuvée offers a beautiful balance between minerality and vinosity.
Made from a blend of nearly 80 crus from all the iconic terroirs of Champagne, Cordon Rouge Mumm affirms the house style, based on a dominant Pinot Noir (45%), a grape variety that brings structure and power to the wine, while Chardonnay (30%) offers an airy and elegant touch, and Pinot Meunier adds fruitiness and roundness.
Cordon Rouge Mumm has a sparkling golden color and intense effervescence.
On the nose, there are notes of white and yellow peaches and apricots, as well as aromas of exotic fruits. With aeration, this champagne opens up to more indulgent notes of vanilla, caramel, brioche, and honey.
On the palate, the attack is fresh and lively, giving way to a round, full-bodied and slightly vinous wine. The fruity and indulgent aromas discovered on the nose linger on the palate, ending in a long, rounded finish.
