The Divine cuvée from Leclerc Briant is a champagne with an impressive aromatic palette. It is a cuvée that pairs perfectly with oysters, noble fish, or sweetbreads.
This cuvée is a solera blend of the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 vintages. Pinot Meunier is the dominant grape variety (50%), complemented by Pinot Noir (30%) and Chardonnay (20%).
The Divine cuvée is dosed at 3g/l (Extra Brut), just enough to highlight the aromatic richness and complexity of the wine.
This champagne has a pale golden, satiny color. Its bubbles are fine and lively.
On the nose, you'll first notice notes of dried fruit, citrus, and iodine. Then, aromas of mandarin, acacia, and toast emerge.
On the palate, the Divine cuvée is a champagne with a creamy, silky texture. There are lovely fruity notes and a nice tension. The mid-palate highlights the crispness of the fruit and a surprising salinity. The whole expresses a certain gourmandise and vinosity with a controlled character.
