Grand Siècle by Laurent-Perrier is a prestige cuvée unlike any other, a unique concept. It's the only prestige cuvée in Champagne based on blending rather than vintage.
Laurent-Perrier takes the demands of blending one step further, and believes that it is possible to recreate the perfect oenological year, one that would bring together the ideal balance between its different organoleptic components. 24 iterations of Grand Siècle have been created since its launch in 1959.
Grand Siècle itération N°22 is a blend of 2004, 2002 and 1999 vintage years selected by Laurent-Perrier from 9 of the only 17 Grands Crus in Champagne, chosen for their complementarity. This wine is composed of a majority of Chardonnay (55%), complemented by Pinot Noir (45%), and benefits from 15 years of extended cellar aging.
Grand Siècle itération N°22 by Laurent-Perrier has a sparkling light yellow color. The string of bubbles is fine and delicate.
On the nose, this wine reveals pastry notes. The attack is elegant, taut and balanced between freshness and saltiness.
The long, silky finish coats the palate.
