Description
Les Grappes Dorées from Laherte Frères is a Blanc de Blancs champagne with an emphasis on minerality, finesse and power, made from Chardonnay from the most prestigious terroir in Champagne for this variety – the Côte des Blancs.
The nose is fresh and energetic, developing notes of white fleshed fruits and dried fruits.
The palate is ample with a lively, incisive attack, and good minerality. The texture is supple and silky with the same dried fruit aromas as the nose which harmonize elegantly with mineral notes.
Les Grappes Dorées is equally good as an aperitif or with grilled fish dishes, or more surprisingly, with a pan seared foie gras.
