The house of Laherte, established at Chavot, near to Epernay, possesses 25 acres of vines split evenly between Chardonnay and Pinot. The majority of their cuvees are vinified in barrel to obtain a rich, profound complexity complemented by a pure freshness. Amongst their most distinctive cuvees figure Les 7, crafted from all seven of the grape varieties authorised in Champagne, and Les Vignes d’Autrefois with its extraordinary minerality. The Blanc de Blancs Nature is also a signature cuvee from Laherte, with its saline and chalky character.
