The 2014 Henriot vintage is a balanced and refined cuvée that perfectly captures the essence of a unique year and the elegance of the Champagne terroirs. It is an ideal champagne to accompany a cocktail reception or even an entire meal.
The 2014 vintage is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, selected from the best terroirs in Champagne. The grapes come from six Premiers and Grands Crus, including Trépail, Mailly-Champagne, Verzenay, and Avenay in the Montagne de Reims, as well as Chouilly and Avize in the Côte des Blancs. Each cru brings a unique dimension to this exceptional cuvée.
The Chardonnay imparts remarkable freshness and minerality, while the Pinot Noir brings a complex structure and a rich aromatic palette. This cuvée has been aged for at least eight years in chalk cellars, offering optimal maturity and perfectly integrated aromas. The dosage, reduced to 5 g/L, highlights the purity of the wine without masking its personality.
The year 2014 was marked by contrasting weather conditions. After a mild winter and a rainy spring, the summer alternated between cool and warm weather. These conditions allowed the grapes to reach great maturity and perfectly balanced acidity, resulting in complex and expressive wines. The 2014 vintage thus reflects all the richness and diversity of the Champagne terroirs.
The color is a brilliant gold with amber highlights and a fine, persistent effervescence.
The nose offers a complex bouquet of yellow fruits, toasted almonds and subtle woody notes, revealing great aromatic depth.
On the palate, the cuvée is full-bodied and delicious, with flavors of apricot, dried fruit, and a hint of grapefruit on the finish. The balance between sugar and acidity is perfectly mastered, offering a creamy texture and good length.
The price per bottle of the 2014 vintage Henriot champagne is 71,95 €. This cuvée benefits from the excellence of Champagne's expertise and the great care taken at every stage of production. A perfect cuvée for lovers of exceptional vintage champagnes.
