The Grand Millésime 2015 from Gosset is a fresh and tangy champagne, characterized by fruity and pastry aromas. It is a cuvée particularly suited to aperitifs.
This Grand Millésime 2015 Gosset blends Pinot Noir (59%) and Chardonnay, grapes from the region's finest terroirs.
The year 2015 perfectly reflects the continental trend of the decade with a mild, wet winter and a hot, dry summer. Thanks to a cool end to the summer, the grapes ripened to produce juicy, ripe and concentrated grapes, resulting in a spectacular vintage.
Gosset's Grand Millésime 2015 was cellared in May 2016, disgorged in November 2021 and dosed at 4 g/l (Extra Brut).
This cuvée has a crystal-clear, luminous, golden color. Its bubbles are fine and lively.
On the nose, it is a fresh and tangy champagne, as delicious as it is elegant, with notes of pastry, fresh fruit (candied orange, mirabelle plum, pear, etc.), nougat and frangipane.
On the palate, it is a wine with a clean attack, followed by slightly tangy notes, nuanced with fruity aromas of nectarine and yellow peach.
This cuvée is particularly well suited as an aperitif.
