Description

Gardet Brut Rosé is a champagne made with grapes selected on the Premier Cru classified terroirs belonging to this champagne house (principally Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses and Ludes).

A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier from old vines of over 30 years of age, it is a cuvee which is only produced if the maturity levels are exceptional.

It is a blended rosé, obtained by the addition of red wine made specifically for blending into a rosé, with carefully chosen grapes, a 10 day fermentation, and oak ageing.

The red wine brings color and additional aromas to a base of Blanc de Noirs. Aged for 3 to 4 years in the cellar before commercialization, this rosé is soft and fresh, with a natural simplicity.
