Produced using the demanding saignée method, this characterful rosé combines structure, freshness, and finesse in a blend that showcases Pinot Noir. Ideal for accompanying an entire meal, it is perfect for lovers of expressive, gastronomic champagnes.
A demanding method for a gourmet rosé
Champagne Rosé Iconic is a rosé made using the saignée method: the Pinot Noir juices are left in contact with the skins for a carefully controlled period of time to extract color and aromas while preserving elegance and freshness. This process brings structure, fruitiness, and intensity to the cuvée. The blend is based on a selection of iconic terroirs: Les Riceys, Avize, Aÿ and Vertus.
- 45% Pinot Noir – Provides structure, power and aromatic intensity.
- 40% Chardonnay – Adds freshness, tension and elegance.
- 15% Meunier – Adds suppleness and fruity roundness.
The cuvée includes 30% reserve wines to ensure consistency and constant aromatic complexity. It is aged for a minimum of three years in the cellars of Domaine de Ludes, under optimal conditions. The dosage is carefully controlled at less than 7 g/L, highlighting the balance between freshness and richness.
