The Héritage cuvée from Brice is a champagne that is both tense and vibrant, yet also offers beautiful generosity on the palate. It is a champagne that is particularly enjoyable as an aperitif, thanks to its freshness and delicacy.
The Héritage cuvée reflects the terroir of the Brice house, blending 70% Pinot Noir from the Bouzy and Loches-sur-Ource terroirs with 30% Chardonnay from the Grauves terroir in the Côte des Blancs village.
The wines are aged entirely in stainless steel vats to preserve their lively character. In the same vein, malolactic fermentation is not carried out. This allows the wine to retain all its mineral tension.
The dosage is Extra Brut (5g/l), which simply highlights the aromatic character of the Pinot Noir grapes from Bouzy and the deliciousness of the Chardonnays from Grauves.
The Héritage cuvée, crafted by Brice's cellar master Christophe Constant, has a lovely golden color.
On the nose, this champagne reveals beautiful notes of ripe yellow fruit, but also a more indulgent touch reminiscent of honey and dried fruit.
On the palate, Héritage starts with a clean attack, then becomes more present in the mid-palate, filling the mouth nicely. It has good volume, fruit, and generosity.
