The Brut Réserve from Billecart-Salmon has been named "Best Brut in the World" by the renowned Decanter guide.
The Brut Réserve Billecart-Salmon, presented here in a jeroboam (3 liters), is a round, harmonious, and balanced champagne. Its blend, unchanged since 1945, is composed of grapes from three different years: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, sourced from the best terroirs of the Marne region.
Building on its traditions, such as vinification in grand cru barrels, the house ages its bottles in an extensive network of chalk cellars dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. The temperature there is constant, around 54°F, allowing for the production of fine bubbles.
The Brut Réserve from Billecart-Salmon has a straw-yellow color and is distinguished by its fine, slow-rising bubbles and persistent mousse.
On the nose, this cuvée displays beautiful maturity tinged with floral freshness and aromas of ripe pear.
On the palate, the attack is vinous and full-bodied, followed by a lovely freshness and a rich bouquet that reflects the aging of this cuvée in the traditional cellars of the House.
