Cuvée Gentilhomme 2013 from A.R. Lenoble is a Blanc de Blancs champagne that combines power, finesse and delicacy.
Made exclusively from Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroir of Chouilly, this cuvée is produced only in great years and in very limited quantities (4 to 5,000 bottles).
Anne and Antoien Malassagne, the 3rd generation at the head of the company, have made strong choices for this cuvée. It is entirely vinified in wood to give it an extra patina and generosity. The dosage is very low (3g/l) to allow the wine to express itself fully.
Cuvée Gentilhomme 2013 A.R. Lenoble has a luminous golden color, with fine bubbles and a delicate mousse.
On the nose, we discover a wine with complex, rich, full-bodied aromas, with notes of white fruit. These aromas then evolve towards more gourmet notes of baked pineapple and mandarin orange.
On the palate, A.R. Lenoble's Cuvée Gentilhomme 2013 offers a superb balance between freshness and richness. The attack is buttery, the contact lively, underlining delicate aromas of white fruit and citrus with a beautiful length. A magnificent wine that subtly combines opulence and elegance, freshness and power.
Cuvée Gentilhomme 2013 will be appreciated as an aperitif, but also as part of a meal to accompany fine poultry or a risotto with porcini mushrooms and parmesan tuiles.
