Description

All glasses and carafes from Sydonios are unique pieces, produced by a team of seven master glassmakers.

The small imperfections that can arise during the delicate crystal blowing process have given rise to the UBA range: Unperfect But Amazing. This range includes a few pieces that have been rendered "imperfect" by the presence of micro-bubbles in the crystal, but whose performance, finesse, and shape remain unchanged.

Sydonios is a young French brand with the ambition of offering the best tasting glasses in the world.

To design the models in their range, Baptiste Larbre and Antoine Schvartz, the two founders, met with over 100 wine professionals and read dozens of scientific studies on the expression of wine aromas. These exchanges and research resulted in seven models. All were tested by a panel of around 100 tasters, and the best and most accurate models were selected.

This set contains six Universel glasses, a model that provides great precision for many wines, especially champagnes. It allows white wines, champagnes, and sweet wines to express all their nuances.

Sydonios glasses perfectly express the power of Bouzy Pinot Noir. It is an elegant glass that is very precise when tasting.

We tested Sydonios glasses on our current champagnes and older vintages, comparing them with other glasses. Each time, we noticed better expression of aromas, especially with older vintages.

In addition to its immense oenological qualities, L'Universel is an incredibly delicate and light glass.

The L'Universel glass measures

It is made of lead-free crystal, is mouth-blown and has a capacity of 35 cL.
