Description

The entire Sydonios range is handmade by a team of seven master glassmakers. Each glass and each carafe is therefore unique.

This manual production process can result in a few minor imperfections. These unique features can appear during the delicate glass-blowing process. These slightly imperfect pieces have given rise to the UBA range: Unperfect But Amazing. A range that brings together pieces made "imperfect" by a few micro-bubbles in the crystal. The performance, finesse, and shape of these glasses are, of course, unchanged.

Sydonios is a young French brand with the ambition of offering the best tasting glasses in the world. To design the models in their range, Baptiste Larbre and Antoine Schvartz, the two founders, met with over 100 wine professionals and read dozens of scientific studies on the expression of wine aromas. These exchanges and research led to the creation of seven models. All were tested by a panel of around 100 tasters, and the best and most accurate models were selected.

This set contains six L'Esthète glasses, a model specially designed for powerful, tannic red wines. It allows them to express all their nuances.

Sydonios glasses are uncompromising when it comes to aromas. They are also ideal for expressing and perceiving texture and structure on the palate.

Sydonios glasses perfectly express the power of Bouzy Pinot Noir. It is an elegant glass that is very precise on the palate.

- Arnaud Diebolt, Winemaker in Cramant:

We tested Sydonios glasses on our current champagnes and older vintages, comparing them with other glasses. Each time, we noticed a better expression of aromas, especially on older vintages.

In addition to its immense oenological qualities, L'Esthète is an incredibly delicate and light glass.

The L'Esthète glass measures

It is made of lead-free crystal, is mouth-blown and has a capacity of 46 cL.
