Description
The La Dame du Lac cuvée from Domaine Lancelot-Pienne is a rare wine, with only 1,365 bottles produced.
Gilles and Julien Lancelot took advantage of the excellent 2020 harvest to blend Pinot Meuniers vinified in red with Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs (Cramant) and the Marne Valley (Bisseuil).
This blended rosé then spent two years in the cellars before being disgorged in June 2023 and dosed at Extra Brut, at 1.75g/L.
La Dame du Lac Lancelot-Pienne is a sparkling rosé with a sparkling color and numerous fine bubbles.
On the nose, you can detect the marriage of the two grape varieties with very pronounced citrus notes (grapefruit in particular) and a touch of exoticism.
On the palate, this rosé has a clean attack, developing beautiful intensity and generous citrus notes on the mid-palate.
A magnificent cuvée that beautifully combines freshness and indulgence.
