Description
The Cuvée Rosémotion from Domaine JL Vergnon is a blend of grapes from the Côte des Blancs (90% Chardonnay) and Mailly Grand Cru (10% Pinot Noir).
It is a cuvée full of finesse, lively and crisp.
Its color is light, orange-pink with fine bubbles.
The nose is sharp with a mineral background and notes of redcurrants and grapefruit. This is followed by aromas of strawberries, saffron, and biscuits, indicative of aging in the cellar.
The attack on the palate is fresh and tender with a lovely effervescence.
Its delicate, airy texture leaves a long, tangy finish on the palate.
A very fine aperitif wine to serve with savory crackers or shavings of Parmesan cheese.
