Franck Pascal's Cuvée Harmonie 2011 is a very pleasant, full-bodied champagne, with a rich aroma that goes perfectly with gourmet dishes.
This cuvée is a blend of 50% Pinot Meunier and 50% Pinot Noir grapes from the Baslieux-sous-Châtillon terroir in the Marne Valley. The plot is planted with both grape varieties. The soil is limestone.
Each grape variety is harvested on a separate date, to ensure perfect ripeness. Pinots Meuniers and Pinots Noirs are fermented separately, with Franck Pascal blending the two wines at the end of fermentation.
Cuvée Harmonie 2011 Franck Pascal has a golden color with light, majestic bubbles.
The nose reveals notes of yellow fruit, nuts and spices.
On the palate, this cuvée evokes pastries, toast and lemon tart, but also a touch of iodine.
