The Grands Terroirs Premier Cru cuvée produced by Charles-Henri and Emmanuel Fourny is a champagne with fresh, fruity notes, supported by harmoniously integrated liveliness and roundness. Aged in small oak barrels, the reserve wines develop superb complexity for this exceptional cuvée.

This champagne, a blend of Chardonnay (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%), reflects the masterful expertise of the Veuve Fourny house. The grapes are harvested from vines that are around thirty years old, planted on the chalky soil of Vertus, a Premier Cru commune in the Côte des Blancs.

This champagne is a blend of three consecutive vintages, including 40% reserve wines aged in barrels. The wine is aged in wood and remains on lees for seven months. This cuvée has very low sulfur content and is dosed at 6 g/L.

Grands Terroirs Premier Cru is a champagne with a fine, persistent effervescence. It is a concentrated wine that reveals sublime notes of pear, green apple and citrus, brioche, toast and honey. A touch of minerality supports the chalky accents of the Vertus grapes.

This Grands Terroirs Premier Cru cuvée is best served as an aperitif during special moments, but also pairs perfectly with fish, shellfish, and white meats.
