Description
This R cuvée from Veuve Fourny pays tribute to one of its founders, Roger Fourny. This champagne reveals the unique expertise of the Fourny family, passed down through generations.
The Chardonnay in this Blanc de Blancs comes from old vines planted 50 years ago in the Vertus terroir, a Premier Cru vineyard in the Côte des Blancs renowned for the finesse and purity of its grapes.
This blend is composed of equal proportions of two consecutive vintages, vinified in barrels and aged for 18 months on lees. This Extra-Brut, dosed at 3 g/L, is fresh and refreshing.
The R cuvée reveals a beautiful golden color with green highlights. Generous, long, deep, and complex, this champagne displays a fruity nose with citrus notes and a lively, taut palate with a toasty, milky finish.
This great champagne can be paired with exceptional dishes such as white truffles or grilled sea bass.
