Alain Thiénot's tribute to his son Stanislas, this Côte des Blancs Chardonnay is a golden-colored cuvée with honey and ripe fruit fragrances. Stemming from the prestigious terroirs of Avize, Cramant and Oger, this elegant, subtle cuvée carries its terroir with brio.
Aged for 9 years in our cellars, this champagne perfectly expresses the amplitude and complexity of Chardonnay, evoking dried flowers, almonds and pastries on the nose. On the palate, dried apricot and citrus fruit melt into the fullness of this generous champagne. The Cuvée Stanislas 2006 is full-bodied and opulent, while retaining the lovely chalky texture of its terroir.
Excellent as an aperitif, it's even better with shellfish or goat's cheese.
