      Description

The Ruinart house was the first Champagne producer to ship its bottles in wooden cases in 1769, a form of packaging better suited to long-distance transport by sea or land.

Ruinart's latest creation pays homage to this first. The Ruinart Cellar Case can be stacked in your cellar, allowing easy access to your precious bottles.

The Caisse Cave opens with a sliding panel bearing the Ruinart name branded in red, a reminder of the original practice.

Entirely made in France, the Ruinart Caisse Cave is crafted from wood sourced entirely from eco-managed forests. It contains four bottles of R de Ruinart.

R de Ruinart is a golden, lively and fruity champagne with subtle aromas of white fruits, making it an excellent aperitif and the ideal companion for a champagne-only meal.

It is the result of a blend of wines from Chardonnay (40%) and Pinot Noir (60%) grapes, including a quarter of reserve wine.

R de Ruinart has a bright, clear yellow color with golden highlights and beautiful sparkle.

Its effervescence is sustained, the cordon is very present and the bubbles are lively and fine.

On the nose, this cuvée is fresh and fruity, with notes of white-fleshed fruits, mainly pear, and hints of dried fruits (hazelnut and almond).

There are also notes of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn, wild rose) and a hint of brioche and butter. The attack on the palate is beautifully lively.

This is a balanced, round and full-bodied wine with ripe fruit aromas (queen claudia and white peach).

      The finish is beautifully persistent.
