The 2014 Irizée Meunier vintage, vinified by Régis Poissinet, is a pure Pinot Meunier. This champagne offers fruity notes, but also great tension.
This cuvée is the result of a rigorous selection of Pinot Meuniers from the estate's old vines, planted on clay-limestone and loamy-limestone terroirs in the Marne Valley.
Half of the wine is vinified in wood and the other half in stainless steel vats. After bottling, the Irizée Meunier 2014 cuvée is aged for 6 to 7 years in the estate's cellars under cork. This unique closure allows micro-oxygenation, which adds a patina to the wine.
