The musts underwent two cold settlings before fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the fruity characteristics of the wine.
This technique is the specificity of the Maison, as wood is more commonly used in champagne making process. The wine is then blended and transferred to bottle for its second fermentation, and aging for 9 years in Pol Roger cellars, the deepest in Epernay.
The 2004 Brut Vintage has an intense gold color with persistent fine mousse.
The nose opens with gourmet notes of honey, grapefruit and lime.
The mouth is full and fresh with fruity aromas.
The Brut Vintage 2004 Pol Roger is an elegant and pure champagne.
