The Oger Grand Cru cuvée from Pierre Gimonnet is unique in the range. While the Gimonnet brothers are known for their constant desire to blend terroirs to produce more complex and balanced champagnes, this cuvée is the first from the house to be made from a single terroir.
Three plots located on the Grand Cru terroir of Oger are used to make this unique champagne: Terres de Noël and Brulis for 45%, Champs Nérons for 32% and Fondy for 23%.
The Oger Grand Cru cuvée is dosed as Extra Brut (6g/l) to allow the sharpness and minerality of the Oger terroir to express themselves.
It is an intense, opulent and distinguished champagne for lovers of wines with character.
Only 9,052 bottles of Oger Grand Cru were produced.
This is a cuvée we created to highlight the unique expression of a very great Blanc de Blancs terroir, but more masculine and with a smokier minerality than our usual blends.
