Grand Blanc 2004 from the house of Philipponnat is a cuvee of outstanding purity, finesse and delicate floral notes, perfect for aperitif.
This Blanc de Blancs champagne is made with Chardonnay from the best terroirs belonging to this champagne house, and notably the famous Clos des Goisses. A partial fermentation in oak barrels adds a touch of complexity.
Philipponnat Grand Blanc 2004 is pale gold in color with a myriad of fine lively bubbles.
The nose is fine, light and full of finesse, floral with agreeable buttery notes.
On the palate the attack is direct, frank and clean revealing a cuvee of good amplitude with distinctive peach aromas prolonged on the final which lingers on notes of brioche.
