Philipponnat's Grand Blanc 2006 is a cuvée of purity and finesse.
Made from Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs and Clos des Goisses, terroirs classified as Premier and Grand Cru.
This is a traditionally vinified champagne, for which malolactic fermentation has been partially carried out to balance freshness and roundness.
Some of the wines were vinified in oak barrels to add a touch of complexity.
The dosage is low (4g/L), preserving the purity and nobility of this cuvée.
Grand Blanc 2006 Philipponnat has a pale gold color and fine mousse.
On the nose, it offers notes of butter and dried fruit. On the second nose, aromas of white fruit emerge.
On the palate, Grand Blanc 2006 reveals notes of fruit and hazelnut. Its clean, fresh finish lasts for long seconds.
