Designed by English artist Ross Lovegrove, this new bottle is encrusted in its thickness with its iconic band allowing better service and revealing an innovative and refined style. It is precisely for the 140th anniversary of the house of G.H. Mumm and its famous red cordon honoring its illustrious clients that this new cuvée, the Grand Cordon, is released in 2016.

In addition to its aesthetic appearance, this new bottle allows in particular a development of aromas and an increase in storage time thanks to its narrower and more elongated neck. Made from the best vintages, the Pinots Noirs, which make up the majority of this cuvée, are blended with the freshness and finesse of Chardonnays, as well as with the fruit of Pinots Meuniers.

Grand Cordon reveals fragrances of white fruit on the nose as well as notes of lychee and pineapple. It then evolves into notes of honey and dried fruits. In the mouth, we find this aromatic intensity and we note the perfectly balanced structure of this beautiful, lively and complex cuvée with a round and sapid finish. A champagne to be enjoyed with delicate dishes of white meat or fish.
