Cuvée Mumm 6 is a special edition that stands out for its much longer-than-usual cellar ageing.
While Cordon Rouge spends 30 months in the cellar, Mumm 6 waits 72 months in the cellars of the Reims winery. This time is used to develop a broad aromatic palette and great complexity.
Pinot Noir, the majority grape variety in this cuvée, contributes vinosity and amplitude, while Chardonnay adds a touch of freshness.
This cuvée expresses aromas of yellow fruit marmalade (apricot, mirabelle plum) and greedy pastry notes (brioche, custard).
The finish evokes spices (vanilla) and a roasted touch.
This is a perfect champagne for lovers of complex cuvées, who want a different approach to the vintage approach.
