Moët & Chandon'sIce Imperial Rosé is the first rosé champagne designed specifically to be enjoyed over ice. It is a summer champagne that combines intense fruitiness with elegance. An ideal cuvée for sunny days and festive evenings.
The production of Moët & Chandon's Ice Imperial Rosé champagne
Ice Imperial Rosé is made from a blend of the three traditional Champagne grape varieties. Dominated by Pinot Noir (45-55%), some of which is vinified in red to intensify the color and aromas, this base provides a vinous texture and vibrant fruitiness. Pinot Meunier (35-45%) adds roundness and suppleness, while Chardonnay (5-10%) introduces a touch of freshness, essential for ice-cold tasting. Approximately 20 to 30% of reserve wines complete the blend to ensure consistent maturity and richness over the years.
The structure of this blend is also reinforced by a specific dosage of 45 g/L, which counterbalances the dilution of the ice cubes while preserving the brightness and intensity of the aromas. It is this dosage that allows the full aromatic palette of Ice Imperial Rosé to shine through.
